Set within a gated community in Nandi Hills, Estates Clubhouse reads as a humble reflection of the rawness surrounding it. A wooden-slat roof wraps the structure, visually breaking down its mass while still allowing unobstructed views where needed. Fenestration size and placement were shaped directly by the hills, and materials — mud plaster, pigmented cement plaster, Sardarahalli granite, Indian marble, Kadappa stone — stay deliberately understated, shifting focus outward to the landscape. A rooftop restaurant opens onto panoramic views of three surrounding hills, grounded by a central courtyard, while planters along the periphery are set to let creepers eventually grow over the wooden slat roof — the building folding further into its setting over time.
